First you need to buy a starter package. The starter package includes a combi-SIM card (compatible with all standard mobile phones and available in standard, micro and nano sizes), a manual and credit of €5. This package is available on www.valnew.world.
When on the site homepage, proceed to Registration. Fill in the registration form and make the payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard/Maestro, JCB-Card, Union Pay, American Express andDiners Club/Discover as payment methods.
The card will be delivered to your registered address within three working days.
Once you have your ValNew SIM card, you need to activate it on this website. Your personal customer account ("MyAccount") will be created for you, which will list all transactions relating to the use of the ValNew Card. After your website activation has been confirmed, insert your new SIM into your mobile phone.
Whereas most money-saving calling cards are meant to be used abroad, the ValNew Card can be used everywhere: abroad and in your home country. There is no need to switch SIM cards: your ValNew local rates will be adjusted to those of the local network operators. Of course, you can expect the biggest savings when you travel: up to 80% cost reduction on voice, text and data. Click here to take a look at our rates. Any transactions can be viewed on MyAccount whenever you want (24/7). Control and organisation of all your global communication is bundled into a single place and you have the power to make the decisions – anytime, anywhere!
If you run low on credit, load your ValNew Card via MyAccount or on gsm.sportaccord.com. For your convenience there is also a top-up tool option that will automatically top up your ValNew credit at expiration. To ensure you stay in control of costs you can pre-set the automated top-up limit per month. In each event the price of the top up will be charged to your credit card and you will receive a confirmation by SMS.
Your ValNew Card will remain valid as long as you have credit on your ValNew account. That means that you decide how long you keep the card. There is no contractual obligation restricting the period of activation. If a ValNew Card runs out of credit and is not topped up, it will remain registered in the system for a year, during which time it can be topped up to use again at any point.
Voice communication - Data - SMS - Voice Mail - VoIP - Airtime Transfer - Toll-free numbers - Multiple mobile telephone numbers (up to eight local numbers from different countries on the same SIM card)
If you use your mobile phone abroad, you usually pay high prices to call home or other international destinations, or even if somebody calls you. By operating its own network infrastructure and by using a callback system, ValNew can offer you incoming and outgoing international calls at low rates. ValNew Card works with more than 300 roaming partners worldwide to ensure consistently low rates for mobile calls and data.
Please visit www.valnew.world and follow the instructions. After you have registered and activated your ValNew Card and established your personal user account (MyAccount), you can access it at any time by entering your phone number or email address and password.
International telephony legislation requires registration.
Dial your phone number during the registration to activate it. Now you can be reached in over 220 countries all over the world, and any incoming calls within Europe are free. Your phone number starts with the country code +44 and, depending on your location, works either by call-back or call-through.
Make sure that your mobile phone does not have a SIM lock. If it does, please contact your current network provider. Insert your ValNew Card into your mobile phone. If you are asked to enter your PIN code, you will find it printed on the back of your SIM card. You can also use your ValNew Card as a data card (for instance in a tablet or other device with a SIM card slot). The registration and activation process is the same. If you accidentally enter the wrong PIN code three times, your SIM card will be blocked. If this happens, you will have to enter the PUK code to unblock the SIM card. You will also find the PUK code printed on the back of the ValNew Card and in MyAccount
Make sure that you put the SIM card in the right slot in your mobile phone and make sure that your SIM card fits properly into the adapter frame. SALOMON AD GmbH accepts no liability for any damage resulting from incorrect insertion of the SIM card into your device.
In call-back mode: Dial the required number and press the "Call" button. Unlike a conventional call, the call is made in reverse sequence. Wait a few moments until your mobile phone rings. Accept the call as usual, and wait until you hear the ring tone and the call connection sequence is completed. Pay no attention to what appears in the phone display (depending on the type of phone it is, you may be asked to press "OK"). In call-through mode: Make your call as usual. Whether the call is made as a call-back or call-through option depends on your location and will be automatically routed by the Sportaccord Card.

Log in to MyAccount at www.valnew.world with your phone number and/or email address and password. Follow the instructions and credit the desired amount to your balance. Credits are made in Euros. We suggest that you save your credit card in MyAccount to make it easier to top up your pre-paid balance in future.
You can activate the automatic top-up of your balance on MyAccount. Decide what amount you wish to credit to your account automatically when your balance drops below €5. The minimum top-up amount is €10. Please note that you need to save a credit card in your user profile in order to use the automatic top-up function. If you opt for automatic top-up, you will receive a SMS informing you whenever your pre-set amount has been charged to your credit card. You can set a monthly limit for the amount that will automatically be charged to your credit card. If you reach this limit within 30 days, the automatic top-up function will be deactivated. In this instance, you will be notified by SMS. You can deactivate the automatic top-up function at any time via MyAccount

To enter MyAccount, log in with your phone number and/or email address and password. Follow the link for Activities, and enter the period that you would like to check.
The voicemail/mailbox service has already been activated automatically in the settings, and there is no charge for it. You will be notified by SMS or email when you receive a voicemail message. To change this setting or deactivate your voicemail, log in to MyAccount
Dial 1212. You will receive a call-back call connecting you to your voicemail. If you are asked for a PIN code while you are abroad (e.g. in Asia), the default is 0000. You can change the PIN via your voicemail settings or via MyAccount. If you want to check the voicemail for a different number, dial that number, eg +44 7937 xxx xxx. Wait for the greeting message, and then press the * star key. The system will ask you for your voicemail PIN code (the default is 0000). Enter this code and listen to your message.
The validity of your ValNew Card depends on the your usage. If you do not use your SIM card for a period of six months, a monthly phone number reservation fee of €1 will be debited from your account from the seventh month onwards. If your credit is used up, your SIM card will remain registered in the system for 365 days. During this time, you may top up your pre-paid SIM card. Otherwise your ValNew Card will become invalid.

IMSI stands for "International Mobile Subscriber Identity" and serves in the GSM and UMTS Mobile Networks to clearly identify network users. Besides other data, the IMSI is registered in a specific chip card, the so-called SIM (Subscriber Identity Module). The IMSI does not necessarily have a connection to the mobile phone number allocated to a SIM card.
The SIM Menu of the card has a large number of setting options you can choose from. Please only change these settings when you are asked to. Applying the wrong settings can badly influence the proper functioning of the SIM card. Please therefore only change the settings as mentioned in the instruction manual.
The costs for calls to your ValNew Card number depend on the caller’s provider. For accurate information contact the provider and ask for their rates.
Yes, the ValNew Card works in all current GSM handsets that are not SIM-locked.
